Global Insurance Settlements Funds PLC (GISF) is a variable capital investment company authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland under Part XIII of the Companies Act 1990. The company has been structured as an umbrella fund with segregated liability between its sub-funds.
It was incorporated in Ireland as a public limited company on 14 September 2010, with registered number 489049. The sub-funds are qualifying investor alternative investment funds and are listed and traded on the Irish Stock Exchange.
The GIS General Fund (the Fund), is one of the suite of products offered by Global Insurance Settlements Funds PLC and is listed on the Irish Stock Exchange.
The GIS General Fund is open-ended to ensure appropriate diversification for investors. Other Funds will be added in the near future to satisfy investor needs. As this fund is a Qualifying Investor Fund the minimum investment is 100,000 Euros (or equivalent thereof).
This structure is aimed at Sophisticated / Institutional investors and provides tax clarity by ensuring there is no tax leakage. It enables a number of different investment options to suit the specific needs of our investors. GI Asset Management Limited has been appointed as the Fund’s Investment Manager and Distributor.

This allows you to own the policies in a legally separate pool with GI Asset Management Limited functioning as your Investment Manager giving you have more flexibility with portfolio construction.
