
Ian has been a member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants since 1963 and has been a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants since 1969. Until his retirement in August 1993, Ian had spent his entire professional life with the international firm of accountants, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. Ian Cotton has eight years experience in the Life Settlements industry, building a fund from scratch to the largest open-ended fund in the world.

With over 25 years experience in Investment Banking and Fund Management Stephanies extensive knowledge has seen her holding management positions in New Zealand, Australia and Europe. She serves as CEO and Director of GI Asset Management Limited (GIAM) and is a member of the Risk Management Committee and Investment Committee for Life Settlements Wholesale Fund, the Australian based fund managed by GIAM. Stephanie is the General Manager and Director of LSI Management Limited, the Manager of Global Insurance Settlements Funds PLC (of which she is also a Director) and is responsible for finance, treasury and portfolio management functions.

Paul was a financial services tax partner in KPMG for more than 25 years and was Global Head of Financial Services Tax for KPMG. He is a former Chairman of the Irish Funds Industry Association and the IFSC Funds Working Group established by the Department of the Taoiseach. He is currently Chairman of AEGON Ireland PLC and holds a number of other non-executive directorships including Coronation Capital Ltd, Epoch Investments Fund PLC and Blackrock’s suite of Irish ETF Funds. He was appointed to the EU Arbitration Panel on transfer pricing by the Irish Government. Paul is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holds a business studies degree from Trinity College Dublinand a Diploma in Corporate Financial Management from Harvard Business School. Paul is an Irish resident.

Fiona Mulhall has over 20 years of diverse regulatory experience in the financial services industry. Fiona is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, a Certified Investment Fund Director and a member of the Association of Compliance Officers. Fiona holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University College Dublin and a Professional Diploma in Accounting from Dublin City University. Fiona has been approved as a Non-Executive Director & Chairperson (PCF 2 & PCF 3) under the Central Bank of Ireland fitness & probity regime. She has industry experience in Valuation, Compliance, Risk Management (including operational risk management), Leverage/Borrowing & Remuneration. In addition, Fiona has developed a complete Risk Program for an AIFM ‐ authoring a Risk Governance Framework document to record the comprehensive risk governance program, designed to facilitate the AIFM’s ability to proactively evaluate, identify, monitor and mitigate against the risks. In addition, she has provided independent assessments to other industry participants on various issues, including evaluation of Risk Management Programs. Fiona maintains her continuous professional development through her membership of professional bodies and attending industry updates and briefings.
